ETH mining seems to be still buggy and not optimized, a lot of people still seem to have problems, hopefully this will be resolved with updates of the miner software. So try both versions of the ethminer, the CUDA one also supports OpenCL and CPU mining.
With the current saturation of miners and the stated plans to switch the network to a proof-of-stake system, I would avoid mining Ethereum at this time. There are several other coins available for mining, like Monero, that may be a better choice for you depending on your goals.
Most people think that Linux is a more stable operating system or because it’s so lightweight, that it runs better, it can have more GPU support (Windows 10 supports 12 GPU now) and should be a better option for 24/7 mining. It would seem logical, but it isn’t:

You are now mining BTC.

Selbst wenn man es schafft etwas einzubauen, was den Einsatz von ASICs verhindert und das Mining auf üblichen PCs ermöglicht, so führt dies am Ende dazu, dass ein Miner statt eines ASICs eben 20 PCs parallel laufen lässt.

Now after your GPU’s are at their default settings, we’ll be using OverdriveNtool to handle the overclocking,target the GPU’s temperature and it’s  undervolting. There is no other tool where you can have full control of your GPU and the ability to quickly optimize the GPU’s. You can’t be % sure the overclock/undervolt settings are working properly. This is a special software that gives you FULL access to your AMD GPU’s and it’s very easy to use once you know the basics.
Both Nanopool and Ethermine can run different software to hash for Ethereum. I recommend running Claymore Dual Miner which allows you to hash for both Ethereum, as well as an alternative currency. This is because Ethereum heavily relies on memory usage while the core processor sits idle. While dual mining, the memory of your video card will hash for Ethereum, and the core processor will hash for Decred or Siacoin as an example.
I reckon just try running Claymore and see what it says. I’m not up to date on Ethereum mining but I heard that the ETH blockchain has gotten too big to sync normally. I don’t know how miners are handling that but presumably some kind of pruning or other solution is used.
Was hier keiner bedenkt ist die Situation wenn man selbst Energie einspeist. Bei der miesen Einspeiseverguetung wird ja auf hohen Eigenverbrauch gesetzt. Den bekommt man durch Mining gut gesteuert. Besser fuer weniger als 20cent/kwh minen als einspeisen.
