How do I buy Bitcoin or other coins ?
The Safe-T mini provided by ARCHOS is a hardware wallet that is used to secure your cryptographic assets, not to buy them. It generates secure addresses from which you can receive/send cryptocurrencies. To buy cryptocurrencies, you'll need to use an exchange platform (such as Kraken, Coinbase, ...).How do I transfer coins to/from my Safe-T mini?
Before doing anything else, go to safe-t.io/start to initialize your Safe-T mini. Once initialized, you'll have the choice to:- go to MyCrypto to send/receive Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and ERC20 tokens
- download Electrum (and its derivatives) to send/receive Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Litecoin and Dash
What are the recovery seed and the passphrase?
The Recovery seed is a 24 words sequence generated inside your Safe-T mini when you initialize it. This seed is unique, you'll have to write it down on the dedicated paper that you'll find in your Safe-T mini packaging. Do not share it, do not make a digital copy of it. The Recovery seed is the representation of your master key in words. If your Safe-T mini is lost/stolen/broken, you can use that seed when configuring a new Safe-T mini to recover your wallets. That's why it's key to protect it!The passphrase (optional) is often considered as the 25th word of the seed, that you can add to your Safe-T mini. It can be a word or a sentence. But do not write down this one, because you don't want it to be discovered. Indeed, when you add a passphrase, an entirely new wallet is generated. Advantages of the passphrase are that if someone steal your recovery seed, they won't be able to access your coins, and if you use multiple passphrase, it's a security against $5-wrench-attack (being attacked physically), because you can give up a low balance wallet. When enabled, you'll be asked your passphrase every time you connect your Safe-T mini and use MyCrypto or Electrum.
Why is my transaction not confirmed?
When making a transaction, it has to be confirmed in the Blockchain. That is why you provide a fee, and depending on the fee given, it may take some time until the transaction is included in the next block.I want to be a Safe-T mini Reseller.
